W-Cape Exporter of the Year

The George Business Chamber is very Proud of MOSSTRICH the winners of the Western Cape Exporter of the Year.

MOSSTRICH, the Mossel Bay company which exports ostrich meat to Europe, was named the overall winner of the annual ABSA/Cape Chamber of Commerce Exporter of the Year Competition at a glittering banquet at the Westin Grand Arabella hotel in Cape Town last night.

Mosstrich earned the Absa Trophy after increasing export revenue for the year of the competition by 88 percent in spite of the recession.
